Just got a R-2 with 4870 in crossfire just ran proformance test on highest settings got a average FPS of 37.93. Can anyone with a 280 sli or 5870 crosfire set up run the test also. Just looking to compare proformance of the video cards on this game.

I did the same bench, with my rig and got about 55 ave, 30 min and 130 high.

Did you do it on Ultra
I have a 4gb mem , I-7 820 , 4870x2. I got 37 average , 106 high and min 7.80.
Wonder why my score is so low in comparison . -

If you want I can run the test on my single 5870 which will give a general idea of how the crossfire will run, I'm running the same cpu as you are so maybe a pretty close idea. I could even run it OC'd to make it a little closer to what you would get with a crossfire rig. Let me know if you want me to do it and I will when I get home.

Thanks Dane that would be helpfull

Here's my results for the system in my sig:
Stock: Ave-49.15 Max-107.78 Min-16.79
LightOC(760/1050): Ave-50.15 Max-110.11 Min-19.53 -

Just did one more run with no gpu OC, and my CPU OC'd from 1.73Ghz to 1.9Ghz, here's the results:
Ave-54.16 Max-118.76 Min-19.9
Now I'm not an expert but based on the results I got that makes me think this game may be a bit more CPU dependant than some games. The game supports multithreaded cpu's so it's not a game that benefits from the "high clocked 1-2 threads" scenario. That makes me think that there is a possibility of this being cpu related. I have an idea to compare cpu results if your up for it. PM me if you want to try it.
Can anyone with 280sli or 5870 crossfire rig run the proformance test on Dawn of War 2 on highest settings .
