This have a 50-50 chance of happening. 50% of the time it wakes back up, 50% of the time it won't do anything, and i need to restart.

    What's the problem, Houston?

EDIT : I forgot to mention that when i try to wake it up, the fan runs, lights on, but nothing on screen.

Battery isn't dead is it? Sounds weird to me, I know my R4 won't wake from sleep if you try to wake it with the keyboard, will work with lid open or pressing power button. Does sound weird though, maybe a process is annoying it?

Sounds like GPU/Graphics issue, can you press buttons and make it make noises? Or even connect it to an external display, sounds like driver for GPU might have crashed personally.

Your battery is likely failing. Replace it and start smiling again. I had the same wake-up problem with my Lenovo laptop some years ago and it took forever to figure out that it was a weak battery. Recently, my Alienware laptop began doing the same thing. There's a built in system check with Alienware laptops, and mine passed everything except the battery, which it said was operating at 60% of potential. I replaced the battery with a new one, and the problem is cured. Press F12 during boot, choose Diagnostics, and see if your battery health is good. Mine was at 60% before replacing it, and everything worked great, except for the wake-up feature.

have you recently flashed the bios or reinstalled your OS then it might be down to the drivers not being installed in the right sequence as with my R2. have a check for the install order if you didnt do it, it might have been the previous owner. Just a thought ..
