    Hey all,

I've been trying to get the 3D working on my R3 for some time now. For awhile I thought it was a problem with the rips, but then I borrowed an actual copy of a 3D movie. Using PowerDVD 10, it just doesn't work. I chose 3D obviously in the options and have what I believe to be the correct settings. R3 is plugged in. Glasses turned on. In the settings when it gives you the demo to look at of the shapes turning it works fine; the movies however do not. Running the A06 BIOS, all stock.

Am I over looking something simple here?

    Thanks

Try powerDVD 11. That one works for sure.

Nope, you need to buy the new version.

I'd suggest Total Media Theatre over PDVD.

Blah, I don't really need the 3d movies then. Wish Windows Media Player had a codec for @ LEAST blu-ray.

I personally have problems with powerdvd 11. The 3d actually seems it run better with the version that came installed 9.3 I think

You do have the 3d turned on the computer correct? You mentioned it works with the demo but just making sure.

That is silly if i have to buy PWDVD 11.0. My buddy told me for weeks to buy it, but what is it? 60 bucks? For what I have wrapped up in the laptop it should play a damn 3D movie outta the box!

I have the stereoscopic 3D enabled, is that correct? Other then that, I have all other settings back to default. I'll give it another try tonight.

Mine plays fine out of the box. View the nvidia 3d photos that come installed. If those are fine open the DVD rip in your powerdvd - go full screen - click 3d then at that point.

Do you know that your rip was done correctly?
If its not playing in 3d, dies it look fuzzy like it should be in 3d?

The installed version of PowerDVD does not work with 3D movies as far as I know. Its version 9.6 if I'm correct. Version 11 works.
