    Hey guys,

Heads up- It's me Aditya Kashyap. I recently got my username changed to Chaos92.

I finally received my AW m17x r3. Yay right?
    NO.

I had ordered with 2860qm and 580m but instead received 2720qm and 460m.
I have called up AW and complained but don't know when or how long it is going to take for the AW guys to get my laptop replaced.

Disappointing. Btw AW also delivered my laptop to the wrong person but it was luckily retrieved.

Anyway do you guys have any suggestions for me? Should i push for compensation or anything?

    Any inputs would be appreciated.

Really tough to explain how i feel right now. Waiting for this laptop for a month, paying a premium for the 2860qm processor and now this.

What does your invoice actually say? If you paid for those higher end components, then a phone call is in order.

Unbelievable.... Naaaa, actually I believe it. The worst is you got a previous generation 2720qm ... I read somewhere in this forum that someone was told by dell support that they weren't making those anymore when he was trying to get his 3 month old warranty covered laptop replaced... so they said he should pay extra for 2760....

Dropped an email to the rep I was dealing with, his seniors as well as Michael Dell.

They are saying that they had sent a wrong quote by mistake and that the price has been increased now.

? Isn't that their fault? I got a quote and I paid according to their quote. Now they have to deliver that right?

    What should I do?
