So im a a Canadian user, and im thinking about purchasing this or the Aurora desktop since i need a new pc. Need some convincing on which to buy. My main concern with buying a gaming laptop is overheating issues, like ive been known to play like 7-8 hours in a row, and im not sure if a laptop like this can handle it (never owned a gaming laptop).

Secondary if anyone can provide me with a good sales rep that gave them a nice discount while ording over for phone for a Canadian buyer that would be appreciated

    Hello,

About buying a gaming laptop and overheating, I have had no issues with this. I have the 460m and have it overclocked while playing games and it never EVER goes above 70C (which is good)

But I'd always go for a desktop just because you can upgrade it and yadayada. (or build one!) The reason why I have a gaming laptop is because I needed it for school and have somewhat good performance in games :)

how long would you say ur gaming sessions last? also if i were to buy the laptop i would use it for school, if i were to buy the desktop i would buy a cheap netbook to go along with it for school.

Ive played games on my m17x r2 for hours straight and i mean over 7hours easily.. and the system has always been fine with staying cool... but if ur worried about over heating u could always pick up a laptop cooler... also im pretty sure the m18x which ill be getting soon will run just as cool as the m17x r2 did for me..

The longest I've done is 6-7 hours.
