So I have had this Microphone for ages and havent been able to get it to work.

Since I have tried researching and fixing this my self with no luck.

I will only tell you the basics, hopefully someone will bring up something I have not thought of.

-The mic requires a driver from the Blue site (There are 2, and you need the correct one [which i have the correct one])
-I am using the mic in sony vegas and audacity
-The mic works for about under 30secs and stops recording
-The Hugh Quality USB Mic requires the full 500mv from a usb point
-I dont know how to find which usb is the one my device is plugged into
    c5670d34ef4933977288c1bf74f1129d.png
-the usb port has to be 2.0

I have tried contacting Blue before and there only advice was maybe the usb isnt being supplied enough power.
    I had a 180w adaptor and recenty upgraded to a 240w.

I sincerely hope you can all help, I want to start making my own anime dubs and voice acting with this mike. Plus my YouTube vids

    Thanks in advance Anton

The USB power suggestion is ludicrous .. They will supply enough power. Regardless if this was true you could buy a USB powered hub. And try that.

The microphone could be simply dying then.

Have you tried it on a different system? What happened there?

I tried a pc and 2 laptops but the same result occured, however the other systems are very old and could effect that.

I contacted blue and asked them for help and this is what they had to say ATM

"Have you tried plugging your Yeti Pro directly into a USB port on your computer?

I have had some customers in the past with Alien Ware computers experiencing similar issues, and they were able to get it resolved by calling their support team.

There may be some setting, or initial setup that needs to be adjusted within your system, so I would start there before we go about having you send your microphone in for testing, or replacement.

Feel free to contact me directly if the issue still persists, and I will assist with having you send your mic in for testing.

    Best regards,"
