    Cant update my ATI 5870 driver please help

    Well i dont know what i am doing wrong i got my m17x today and im no computerwiz by far but updateing my drivers shouldnt be a problem but it dosent work...

    I uninstall the ati component with the CCC then run a CCleaner restart my computer and install the card again through the CCC again.

    I downloaded this file and installed the CCC:
    10-7_mobility_vista_win7_32-64_ccc

    Im stuck at 8.692.2.0/10.1 version cant update to 10.7

    Has anyone had the same problem or know how to get my driver updated to 10.7 would really like to be able to start benchmarking my system and start playing Star Craft 2.

    Would really appreciate some help

    Tried it still didnt give me the choice of the graphics driver during the installation the only one that give me the option to install the driver is the driver from dells homepage which installs 8.692.2.0.

    Its called R259589.

    I wonder what can be so wrong...

    Could someone link to the file they used to update there driver maybe that would help.
