    Catalyst 10.7 driver and Catalyst Control Center not installing.

    Hello, it's been a while since I have used these forums. As expected, I have Star Craft 2 installed on my M17x R2 with dual 4078HD cards.

    After installing, I got a Star Craft 2 updater prompt stating that it was detecting an incompatible video card. I also read some articles online stating that you would need the 10.7 drivers to be able to play StarCraft 2 and enable something like AA or AF.

    Naturally I downloaded the drivers from ATI.com and run the install. Nothing happens, I get an error asking me to check the log file and the log file gives useless information.

    Did a quick search here on Notebookreview forums and found info about installing reference drivers on mobility cards. I tried using mobility modder first, that did not work. I still have 8.6 drivers AND CCC icon does not show up ANYWHERE.

    I checked program files and my system tray and the icon is not there so I have no way of knowing if I am using Xfire or not now.

    I did some more researching and found out about Driver Sweeper. This seemed to make it easier in making sure the driver was completely uninstalled, however when I ran the 10.7 install file, same thing. No CCC and only 8.6 drivers.

    Is there something more I need to do to get these 10.7 drivers installed on my M17X R2?

    Gonna shout out to Joker. What's up man. Good to know you are still active here. Yeah, yeah, I know, should have sold this one for the 5870HD M17x, but AWD Turbo can change a lot of things. lol
