i'll wait for newer release this afternoon, the current beta that was released this morning was pulled by ati for bugs.

Amazing frame rate gains in BF3 so far! It feels almost like a mild hardware upgrade. With that said, I noticed my 3DMark 11 score drop by ~200 points as opposed to others who tested it and got ~1000 points more, for whatever that's worth. Maybe I just need to do a clean install and run it again..

^ I wish I had your 7970M. Mine still tops out at 965 Mhz for 3DMark 11, same as on the initial drivers. Still, this update clearly boosted 3DMark scores a lot.

I tested Skyrim, Crysis 1 and Battlefield 3 with these drivers. Performance went up on Crysis considerably. I'm running it maxed out now with 4x AA and 1080p and graphics overhauls at around a constant 45fps. On Skyrim though I am getting TONs of artifacts all over the screen.
On a 7970m -
CptXabaras Overclocked, Overvolted, Liquid Cooled
running on them right now, i've planned an evening of Borderlands 2 co-op with a friend, i'll see how they work
EDIT:
Looks like they work good, they also cured my explorer crashing every time I closed borderlands 2. I'm gonna try them with MoH Warfigters in a couple of hours. If the perform well, I'll keep them. -
is this still beta?

Wow I just installed these drivers and am noticing a huge increase in fps in Wow I gained about 15+ fps from stock 6990m drivers. I have always been scared about installing new drivers because of issues I have read on these forums. I did however get a BSOD on install most likely because I just installed these drivers right over top of the stock ones and did not uninstall or anything. Upon reboot from the BSOD they installed perfectly. Deffinately get these if you have a 6990. The other good thing is my switchable graphics seem to be working still.
-
How do you install these drivers? My R3 6990m has 12.1 installed and the AMD installer says its up to date.

.
@everyone: has anyone noticed a slight increase in 7970M temp? My temp went up like 2 C under normal load.
P/s: this is more detailed, errors proof way to install 12.11. In case you have Enduro on.

bigtonyman Desktop Powa!!!
Running fine over top of 12.9 drivers which I had installed over the dell stock drivers.

So the other threads are reporting that this fixes Enduro...!
So how long does AMD keep drivers in Beta and after they are released, how long does Alienware make us wait? This is one they will have to release if not simply for the performance boosts. -
-
Why don't you just install it now? -
There isn't any reason to wait on Alienware for this. It will detect the card as supported now since AMD has taken to task to work on Enduro and support it in their drivers now.
-
Everything I play already is more than fast.
My other gaming machine is an nVidia based setup.
I will likely wait for Alienware to release these oficially, but I am excited about enduro being fixed.
How about somebody bencmarking in dedicated and enduro and posting the comparisons.. If it is fixed, there should'nt be any? -
These drivers crash alot with Serious Sam 3 for me.
