Hey guys, i recently updated my CCC to version 2 but it still does not display options that it is supposed to and i was wondering if i could get some help.

I am experiencing a texture glitch in "Shift 2" which is supposed to be fixed by disabling "Surface format Optimization" in CCC under the 3d application settings tab, but this option is not there.
In fact, the majority of my CCC 2 options are the same as they were in CCC 1.

I have updated to the latest ATI drivers are re-installed CCC 2 but the options are still not present.

Does anyone have any suggestions or reasons for this? I am running Crossfire 5870m's, are they not compatible with this option?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks guy.

    Requires a little registry hacking.

Open CCC, click on Information/Software and copy the 2d Driver Path to a notepad to determine which registry section to edit. For most it should be /HKLM/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/Class/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/0000.

In regedit, go to /HKLM/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/Class/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/000[X] (X denotes the 2d Driver File Path). In the right panel, locate and change the following (right click on each and select modify):

    -Change MLF_NA from 1 to 0 (MLAA)
-Change SurfaceFormatReplacements_NA from 1 to 0 (Surface Format Optimizations)
    -Change TFQ_NA from 1 to 0 (Textures Filter/AI)

Then, open the UMD sub-key located at . . . . /{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/000[X]/UMD and in the right panel:

-Right click, select new, select string value and enter MLF_DEF. Then right click on MLF_DEF and select modify. Enter 0.
-Right click, select new, select string value and enter: SurfaceFormatReplacements_DEF. Then right click on SurfaceFormatReplacement_DEF and select modify. Enter: 0
-Right click, select new, select string value and enter: TFQ_DEF. Then right click on TFQ_DEF and select modify. Enter: 1

Go to Start/Run and enter "mom.exe restart" (in lieu of a reboot to implement changes). The 3d Application Settings under CCC should now include the new options. Adjust to taste.

Or get RadeonPro and force SFO off via a profile for Shift 2.
