anyone running this game on their m17xR2 with xfire 5870s? i cant seem to run the came at the native resolution of 1920x1200. it gets laggy. i have to drop the resolution down to something like 1600x1050 to have smooth gameplay. my cpu is the 920xm. if anyone has the same setup and have any experience with settings for this game. please let me know.

    much appreciated.

Need you to provide more info -

in-game settings, display driver version - without this, its tough for others to compare.

sorry bout that. the driver version i'm using is the 11.1 drivers and the in game settings are pretty much the stock settings the game is on except for the fact that i changed the resolution to 1920x1200. i have not even touched into the advanced settings yet.

Did you check performance under the 8.763 Dell Driver? Might want to do this as a reference point. if the 8.763 driver is ok, then you know its an 11.1 issue. Also, what about those profiles? I know others in the main 11.1 thread were talking about profile updates...

did a bit of testing and game is ALOT faster with crossfire disabled. guess champions online still does not support xfire. hope this helps anyone playing the game. i can now play the game at native resolution of 1920x1200 with all high settings with no hiccups at all.

Unfortunately not many games fully utilize CFX, I had to disable CFX in AION just to get smoother framerates. You may also want to use Vsync and turn AA down if not off completely.

It's kinda wrong to say that not many games use CF...actually, most games use CF and SLI just fine. Old games that can't utilize CF or SLI probably wouldn't need it anyhow. New games need a couple of weeks for nVidia and ATI to update to their profiles, that's it.

Did you ever install the latest CAP to add X-Fire support?
Go here: Rage3D and just download and install the latest (newest) version available.

Then, test the game with X-Fire enabled again and see what happens
