Dear Forum friends,
recently I ordered 780m listed in this topic -> http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/fs-nvidia-gtx-780m.772071/#post-9949787 .
THe 780m is 780m, removed from laptop GT60. It is listed that it runs stock MSI VBIOS (is this relevant?)
Could someone give me a step by step how to install mentioned 780m into my m17x R3, considering all the factors:
-I currently have 6990m (radeon -> new GPU Will be 780m NVidia
-I have A12 bios currently installed
-New NVidia 780m Will have MSI VBIOS
SO, considering all the factors, how do I have to install this GPU to work?
Thank you in advance and have a pleasant day![]()

It probably won't work or you will have serious issues. Don't buy MSI gpu's to mount them in alienware. About 1 week from here another user bought 780M MSI and couldn't get it to work properly even with our help. Search for that thread.
Buy Clevo or Dell GPUs. MSI is a lottery.
At least if you ordered it then try.
EDIT::

Can you please before you change the vbios, save the original vbios and upload it for me. I have been looking for an original vbios. I would really appreciate it
