    Changing the POST graphic

    I'm wondering if there is a way to change the graphic that comes on the screen with the alien head when the system POSTs. I'm going to be using my computer in a professional setting, and not a particularly creative one at that so if I could get that alien head out it would be preferable.

    There are some directions floating around for the R2 version but I don't know which revision you have and even if it worked the move is very risky as the chance of bricking a unit that potentially cost upwards of $2k is high.

    If it is seen as something unprofessional, let those people wallow in that thought. Who really cares? I mean... you're worried about the bootup picture for the BIOS and not the alien head that lights up on the back of the lid? Huh... :p

    Yea I wouldn't be to worried about it. The picture is only shown for a few seconds on boot anyway. How many people would really see it?
