I always unplug the power after shutdown. Always when screen and all leds are off.

At the next day, when I plug the power, the battery starts to charge.
When Windows is loaded, it shows about 90% charge level :err:

I thought it was a issue in Bios (A4).
But yesterday I upgraded the Bios to the latest A12 and it still continues.

Somebody else unplug his Alienware and the battery starts to charge when plug?

(after 3 laptops, this is the first that does it)

With time the battery life is decreased and sometimes might even discharge. Are you sure that everything is disconnected and nothing is running when you disconnect the ACAdapter.

Also there is no need to disconnect it because the battery charge will stop when it reaches a 100%.

Here are some more tips about battery life.
