I bring my laptop around alot and I want to know Ill be able to make it look brand new again after a little roughing up. Thanks guys.

Here is the answer to your prayers, going brand new you'd want to go with Grade A. I recently purchased grab B silver R2 base and lid for a paint project. May just keep it classy silver.

Not with an R3 but will do it with an R3. Both systems will require a complete and total teardown and rebuild in the new chases as you have to move the entire mobo and everything in the system, to include lcd. Shouldn't be too difficult if your comfortable doing it and have a bit of patience and know how and make note of how everything is assembled.

yeah your right. i found a good video on the complete tear down. gonna need to label each and every screw and take pictures of where all the wires are. Looks like a 1-2 hour job. But.. once done it will look spankin new wont it :) One thing they dont show though is the LCD disassemly, anyone know where the directions for that are?
