    Clean install - so what are these unknown device IDs?

    I just did a clean install of Windows 8 Pro x64 on my M17xR4. Installed the Win7 x64 drivers since native Win8 drivers are not yet out as per the thread in the main Alienware forum.

    but I still see 2 "Unknown Devices" in the Device Manager. These have the following IDs:

    1. ACPI\VEN_CPL&DEV_0002
    2. ACPI\VEN_SMO&DEV_8810

    What are these and which drivers should I install for them?

    One is probably the freefall sensor, the other looks like it might be the OSD driver according to Dell Support.

    I'll leave you the complete list of drivers with the correct installation order in case you missed any, besides it's always nice to have them handy in case you feel the urge for another clean install haha.
