    Hi,
I have an R4 which works great. My issue is that I live in a place with a lot of ambient dust and by the end of each day, my machine is covered in fine dust particles - cover, screen, keyboard, touchpad - basically everywhere.

What's the best way to clean these external things - especially the screen? Wet cloth, alcohol, cleaner etc? How do I make sure there are no streaks on the screen or scratch it as well as clean the individual keys on the board?

    Any recommendations?

For keyboard you could always use a keyboard cover.

For cleaning otherthings, use a microfiber cloth and screen cleaners I guess.

Get compressed air spray the screen to get some dust out of the way, next use one of those soft brushes like the ones used in camera lenses to take off the remaining dust, then finally clean it with screen cleaning fluid, finally wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.

I'd avoid using ANYTHING with traces of alcohol in it as this could affect the finish of your machine. To start, remove as much dust etc as possible with a little anti-static brush, then for the screen I would use lens cleaner (non-alcohol based) sprayed onto a clean dry micro fiber cloth and buffed dry with another clean cloth. For the KB and palmrest and outer casing, I use a a very mild solution of warm water and washing-up liquid (a few drops to around a litre of warm water), again, a clean micro fiber cloth TIGHTLY wrung out and then wipe down the affected areas. Buff with another dry micro fiber cloth....JOB DONE!
