Due to a recent dust storms my laptop accumulated a lot of dust inside, it started to be very noisy while gaming and i think the vents are clogged.

Was wondering if its safe to clean it with a compressed air can and if it is what brand should i use?
I just dont want to spray moist air into my laptop.

And off topic, where can i find alienware win 7 theme?

It is a good idea to open the back of your system and remove the fans (there are only 3 screws for each fan + the power connector), and clean them with the compressed air can (any brand will do) and most probably a brush. Also before fixing back the fans, you can clean the area where the fans are fixed with the same 'air spray'.

And about the alienware 'look': http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...ook-feel-after-clean-install-windows-7-a.html

Get yourself a small $80 air compressor, you'll save money in the long run. Those cans of air are like $6 each where I live.

Endless supply of air, no freeze ups. And you can use it for other things too. ;)

The guy at the shop said the same thing, im just worried about the moisture that the compressor can shoot out, i just worked with compressors before and the can accumulate it while compressing the air.
    Did u use on yourself?

Just make sure you routinely drain it so it wont shoot water. Before you start blowing out your system ensure the lines are dry.

Here is the one that I got from Sear...It was on sale for $75 when I bought.

Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more

Mine stays in the basement. I use it once a month on my desktop and lappys. I never had any moisture probs yet but that might be because it always stays at room temp. You can easily adjust the pressure down to what the canned air would be, or even lower, so you do not damage anything. I bought an extra blow nozzle kit too.
