My 6990m died again after heating it in the oven and working for another half a year. So I got a fair deal on 780m but its from Clevo. I read that heatsinks are almost identical and that shouldn't be a problem to have 6990m heatsink on 780m, but is 780m from clevo 100% compatible with AW m17x r3 (apart from customizable drivers + bios).

I already have bios A12 installed and downloaded some modded drivers. I am also aware that I will have to change some options in BIOS - could i get more details?

But the main question is, will Clevo 780m work in my AW in the end? Thank you :)
