Hi, does anyone remember the thread that explained the buttons to select to get back to the sign-on screen. I closed the lid and now when a re-boot; I continue to get the black screen. There was a simple process, can't remember... Windows button, FN I don't know.. If someone wouldn't mind pointing me to that link, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks so much!

FN + F7... why would you get a black screen in the first place?

Do you get a black screen after coming out of sleep or a system reboot?
If it's after coming back from sleep, read here, it's a known issue with the mobility 5870.
