    Hey guys:

I just got a new M17x R3. I saw a post a few weeks ago about adjusting the colors so they look better. Now I can't find that post anymore!

Anyone have a link to that post?

    Thanks!
    Jeff

basically its up to your own taste... color settings are in amd catalyst software, you can tweak saturation to the level you want to, make sure it stays real though... i suppose that was it.

You could also purchase a Spyder Pro 3 or Elite if you really wanted to personalize your calibration settings.

I'd buy it but my calibration settings wouldn't be for everyone. the 120hz panel is higher gamut from the factory and 100nits brighter than the 60hz panels =/

Do they really work that well? Could I use it to calibrate a projector?

cannot use to calibrate a projector - maybe a spectrometer can do that in a gasless room, however.

The Spyder 3 Express/Pro/Elite are a laser mouse like device that lay on top of your monitor's panel and measure your monitor's deviation from "reference" colors :p

I've seen devices to calibrate a projector, they beam an IR light onto the projetor screen in areas so you can calibrate colors IIRC...

Can this be used to calibrate LCD/DLP TV's? :)
