    Computer freezing and ctrl alt del not working

    Hi
    I have recently reinstalled my windows and now I face an issue of frequent freezing. Programs will just stop responding all in once and ctrl alt del key combo wont do anything at all. Other ways of bringing up the task manager during the freeze dont work either. However if I press the power button so that laptop goes to sleep mode it will w8 for about 20 secs and then go to sleep mode with all the programs unfreezing right before it does.

    Does anyone know what causes this ?

    Stats: m17x R1, Vista home premium.
