Thx for making me buy the 7970M card in my R2.
Running at apx 70Deg max during test.

Only problem i have now is my 940 QS that cant run on turbo mode, since some cores overheat.

Bugging to have this good CPU and GPU to then be limited by CPU.
Will try mounting the 940 with the paste from the GPU. Hopefully it gets better or i have a CPU problem, not a cooling problem.

I guess most in there operating with 940 can easily do that at normal speed?

Yeah try the re-paste, make sure you spread it evenly and let us know what temps you get. Maybe you could even increase fan speed if you still need to decrease temps a bit.

Fan speeds running full from 40 deg right now. The fan cant react fast enough to keep up with the inrease in temperature.
Goes to above 90 deg in just a few seconds when i have the turbo enabled.

Have repasted many times, but hopefully 6'th time is a charm.

    It was the compound.

    Use Diamond for CPU.
It works better than any other i tested.

Thx a lot to all of Ya, and the QS chip is no prob whatsoever. :)
