Connect HDMI in and then use mini DVI / HDMI out?

    Hello guys,

I have a small problem. I want to connect my Yoga 2 Pro to a Apple Cinema screen, but the Cinema has only one (1) male mini DVI which works perfectly with my M17X, which has a mini-DVI port. But, I also want to connect my Yoga 2 Pro sometimes.

An possible way to do this is by connecting the Micro-HDMI of the Yoga 2 Pro to the HDMI-in of the M17X and then sending that signal to the screen by using the mini-DVI port which is already connected to the Cinema.

To make matters worse, I have no spare HDMIs with me for me to test out stuff :(

TLDR; Can someone please test out by connecting a device into the M17X HDMI-in and checking if that output comes out of the mini-DVI port or even the HDMI-out?
