    Another Cryo?

My Cryo died as well, and I'm just using it because I like the angle it puts the system at. How did it scratch your system? Just so I know what to be aware for.

Perhaps you can create your own cooler, Might be something to put some thought into. Like an all plexiglass cooler with leds and stuff. Could look pretty snazzy.

Basically anything from it can be fixed!

My problem is the fan control switch is burned out. :( So I only have one speed low. I tried searching for an extra board, but the rubber coating wore off on the left side. I think it's from me playing with it on my lap sometimes it would slide and I think just over time the rubber wore off and put this scratch on the bottom. [IMG]

Wow, i don't know if it will but if you do try it make sure to shape it before it dries (get your hands soapy ;)). If you'll have to cut/shape it after, it won't look nice.

I replied to your PM btw.

I really like my Cryo I was even gonna change the fans in it, But I don't want to keep worrying about it scratching my laptop. I am going to give that rubber sealant a try see maybe I can get it rubberized again. See if I can find another fan controller. I will PM Stevie to see if he still has his as well thanks Katalin.

Hmmm, Never seen that before, Looks like it would be a good replacement and cheap. Do you have this one? Can you tell me a little about it? Do the fans suck in air or do they blow down? How about the cooling effect is it well?

It is a good choice and a good performer also cheaper. I had it before I got the Cryo(since this one was so hard to find in FR) but ended up finding the NZXT in the end and kept it as I like the angle of the M17x on it compared to the Notepal, plus it looks like they had this laptop in mind when NZXT designed it so I ended up selling the U3.

Which one performs better? I also really like how the R2 sits on the Cryo, which is why I really would like to fix this.

Both do, but the Cryo has so many extras, forgot about saying that the U3 doesn't fold like the Cryo which is a plus for portability.
It's basically a choice between this:
Get the U3 as a fast cheap option or pass some time and have fun reviving your Cryo.
