Looks like vengeance means more like a scameance

EDIT\\\ Possibly it is because of 16 GB.
Could you try to test it with only 8GB of 1600MHz RAM?

The 1600Mhz CL7s are one in 2GB sticks. 2 sticks work at 1600 no problem, 4 sticks fails to boot at 1600 and defaults back to 1333Mhz.

How does the T2 command rate effect the memory?

so having a higher command rate will increase the performance? Hmmm I guess that is the only thing holding the corsair ram back then.

no its the other way around...ideally, you want 0T and there's actually some memory out there that supports 0T

The lower command rate the faster your ram will perform. So 1T is better than 2T

in the bios the CAS latency only goes to 10, it's supposed to be 11,11,11,30.Anyway to up that to 11? What do you guys with 1866 have yours set at?

you tested 16GB of 1600 Corsair. It shew not well results in CPU-z. Could you test this type of memory but with only 2 sticks?

No. I tested 16GB of hyperx 1600MHz and 8GB of Corsair Vengeance 1866 MHz. I didn't test 8GB of hyperx because I dont think it would make a significant difference in the speeds shown in AIDA/CPU-Z

Hi, you can call me James D. This is notebookreview forum. We talk here in English.
I want to ask you to check Corsair Vengeniance 1600Mhz CL9 8GB (2x4GB) if you can please. Because 16GB 1600Mhz Corsair Vegeniance you tested shew not well result here on the first picture (screenshot)
Nobody talks here right now about HyperX. You can calm down. :)

You don't have to touch anything. Just leave it to default and auto speed as it is PnP.

You shouldnt need to tweak anything in the bios for that ram. Also you don't understand what Cas is, the lower the better. Upping it will make things slower.

chillax dude, I am not writing anything about your post, I still cannot see where is the test with 16GB corsair 9-9-9-27 (anyway is there even a corsair with 9-9-9-27 timings on the market?), you were just talking figuratively? about corsair 9-9-9-27? (is there really a corsair 1600 with 9-9-9-27? their 1600 is 9-9-9-24 right?)

I'm just too charged. My laptop can't be repaired for 2-nd week while it is broken for 3 monthes.
However still use that link, 1-st picture CPU-z screenshot shows 9-9-9-27 2T while yeah, 1600 Corsair should be 9-9-9-24 1T. That's why I am saying that they work not s advertised and therefore I asked him to test only 2 sticks from 4.

Ita all simple and that's why I can't understand why it is 2-nd page about what I wrote.

I do not own any Corsair 1600...The ram that I own is the corsair 1866 and the hyperx 1600 (which i just sent out for a return). Nowhere in the review do I mention corsair 1600 ram. However, they would be a good comparison to the hyperx 1600. I didn't buy any though.

Edit: Are you referring to these? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233242

that post with screenshots was edited 30 minutes ago and 3 minutes after your last post. You edited the name of 1st screenshot whih is bold. Because I saw 1600mhz Corsair not HyperX. Now I see HyperX.
    And that made everyone confused.

In this case could you test 8 gB of hyperX?

No. Look at the bottom. I added the windows score. You read it wrong man. I already returned the hyperx.

Edit: I wrote that I returned the hyperx at least twice. So 100% you read it wrong the first time man.

I know you already wrote about returning HyperX.
But about that name... If I really did then please sorry all. But is here anyone who can 100% tell me that from the beginning that bolded name of screenshot really contained hyperx instead of corsair? I just can't believe I read it wrong many times ahead.

Na8331 (what does it mean man? :)), how is corsair vengeance working for you? are you seeing some improvements? even at %1, what is the difference from hyperx 1600 cas 9? glad you got it working man!

Does someone know a good place to get Hyperx for the m17x?

And sorry if this has been asked before but does 1866 run in the m17x or just 1600?

I had a lot of problems with 1866, 1600 works just fine, your risk, choose wisely :) (I had a very happy week with my 1866 before the problems started :( )

    EDIT: for the place, amazon.com

You can overclock the PNP HyperX, technically I have mine running at CL8 but can't push it to CL7 (devil dude has managed to) :p

8-9-8-18 is what mine is running at perfectly stable.

Make sure you buy the HyperX PNP kit if you are considering HyperX - I think it's they grey ones. The heat shields are pretty sick as well, does Corsair vengeance offer shields?

    Hey man!

Na8331 is my name in numbers and letters. The RAM is working flawlessly even with the overclock. Performance wise...I can't really tell that much. I'd have to have a laptop side by side next to me with the same specs as mine with the slower ram to actually compare because the difference is almost negligible. I did not do any FPS tests to compare how that affected the dedicated card (id expect it not to do much).

I can tell you a bunch of stuff like ''it feels snappier'' or a little faster. But honestly its just placebo which Im 100% ok with.

Could you say how?? I know people reflashed RAM's BIOS (blue XMP HyperX) to make it work on 6-6-6 timings on 1066 and at least 8-8-8 on 1333.

Again question about JEDEC screenshots. It is 4-th menu (I guess) of CPU-Z
