I am getting random blue screens. One of them was a kernel task. The bsods are never on the same thing, they are always different. Last time I had this issue (although it was MAC OS X), it was due to faulty RAM. Not to mention I can't wake from sleep SOMETIMES and I can never hibernate. Thoughts?

well RAM can be "one" of the problem. BSODS occur due to various reason. It can be cpu overheating, corrupt sectors on HDD,faulty ram , improper windows update, drivers clashing etc.

for RAM, download this software. Software is pretty self explanatory. you just need to burn it on a disc and run it during boot. It will test mem on various parameters and let you know if there is some faulty memory.

It may be your ram, but my guess is video drivers. Never again will I use any AMD product :p

What is your catalyst verson / driver verson? like 11.xx or did you upgrade to 12.1 preview?

I'm on 11.12 supposedly, but I run on IGP most the time. My temps are fine. Scanned the hdd for corruption, nothing found. I will give memtest a shot.

    scratch that i'm on 12.1

I've deleted them, i'll pull them up when I bsod again. Every bsod is a system_service_exception error as of late. Sometimes it will point to a .sys file, most the time, it won't point to anything. Memtest didn't show anything.

If memtest86 didn't show anything, it probably isn't the ram. I had bad ram, and mem test identified it within an hour of starting the test. Plus you have been good for awhile. Ram is usually bad or good from the start. I'm leaning toward drivers.

BSOD doesn't point to a driver though. I just happend again about 10 minutes aga. Where can I go to get the mini dump files? This is a fresh install of windows too.

use bluescreenview, it will tell you all errors

Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files.
