Hi. Ever since I got my M17x I've experienced the occasional crash, but now my computer crashes constantly, always in the middle of a game. During every single crash my audio continues to work and my screen either blacks out, I only see my mouse, or I see a checkerboard pattern. Sometimes it bluescreens and sometimes I just can't do anything until I shut it off. This is getting frustrating beyond belief because I can't play a game without it crashing on me.

Call Dell, that is unacceptable for the price we pay for these machines.

Dude, if you are experiencing this with all games, then you are probably overheating...either GPU and/or CPU. You have to monitor your temps during a game. Log them to a txt file with something like Sapphire Trixx for GPU and Coretemp for CPU.

    Then post the results here.
