Is crossfire working in Skyrim on the 12.7 beta for m17x-r2 users?

Wondering if it's worth updating from 12.6 to 12.7 beta.

(Also, is anyone getting great fps in The Secret World? I'm getting around 50-80 with crossfire on and plenty of flickering texts, 30-40 with crossfire off. Settings are 1920x1200 and everything else on 1.)

For me crossfire in skyrim is broken as usual.

Good thing is that since 12.7 came out a single 6970 is enaugh to play the game pretty maxed out and almost always butter smooth

We have received some feedback regarding this issue on our discussion about this on the m18x. Check it out.

Just installed 12.7 beta (after uninstalling and sweeping all remaining ati display driver files). Now it says my primary adapter is an ATI Firepro M7820 instead of the Mobility HD5870.

And Skyrim flickers like crazy with crossfire on.

I'm disappointed. Going to revert to 12.6.

Disable crossfire on skyrim with radeonpro software. I had crossfire 6970s running at 5040x1050 and I could run it at 40 fps maxed with terrible graphic distortion and low fps, or 30 fps vsync single card and be perfect.

crossfire support for skyrim isn't going to get better. Fallout 3 & Fallout New Vegas proved they don't care about crossfire/sli.

I know theres an issue where crossfire isn't working at all for Skyrim, but be wary that when you do get it to work it wouldn't have been worth the journey or trouble.

    What daveatx said..

and if you really really want to have crossfire, in CCC set a profile for skyrim using 3Dmark11demo.exe profile. No flickering and both cards under load but i don't personally see that great scaling.
