    Crysis 2 Low FPS?

    Hi Guys,

    My 1st post in here :eek:

    I'm running Crysis 2 with Ultra setting (Including DX11 and High Res texture).

    I'm getting FPS of 17-30 throughout the game. I'm using the fraps software to determine my FPS. The 6970m can def handle Ultra settings, but things just aren't as fast as Extreme or Very High settings.

    I want to play ULTRA mode as fast as Very High Mode!!! :mad:

    Is something wrong with my machine?

    I had to set mine back to Extreme too. Still awesome graphics. Perhaps a future driver will unleash some hidden power.

    looks normal to me.

    crysis 2 (with dx11+hdpack) is the most demanding game out there right now.

    try disabling tessalation in your catalyst driver settings.

    Thats totally normal my crossfire 6990s get 30-50fps, you cant play on ultra as fast as very high, more demanding settings means slower performance that's the way it works

    Can someone tell me whatkinf of fps to expect in Crysis 2 with D11 and HDpack with extreme settings?

    -Currrent rig: Alienware M17x R2, I7 720QM, 5870 CF-
