    Hi,

Hopefully this is the right place for this question. I know my computer will play Crysis Warhead fine, it plays Crysis easily on very high mode with no issues. I just bought Warhead from Amazon after playing Crysis (I know I am late coming to the game, but this is the first computer I have had that can run it properly). I am waiting for the game to get here to install, but I have started reading all the issues with the DRM and Securom that gets installed on the computer with the game. My question isn't about the amount of installs, what I am worried about are the conversations talking about Securom and the DRM preventing other things on your computer not working... like other games and your cd/dvd burner and the vulnerability issues to viruses and such. For everyone who has this on their rig...do you have any issues? I will be installing this via DVD, not a download, and I am very, very worried about messing up my system. The game was cheap, so I will not be to upset if I don't install it, I would prefer that to installing it and finding out that it messes with my laptop. Thanks for any replies and sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum.

I had Crysis Warhead on disk and never had any issues at all. One day I went to install it and got some error about it being installed on too many computers. I got a hold of them and they fixed that. Never any issues like you're talking about. I own it now on Steam, which doesn't require a disk to be in the drive. I don't want to go on a rant about Steam, but they do make it much easier to buy and manage games. You could have 100 games in your library and not have to carry around a single disk. And never mind the fact that you don't have to go hunting for games; you just buy and download.

    Same here.
I Got it, installed it and played it. No issues with it at all.
As for steam, problem with them is sometimes the games are too dear.
Bulletstorm is 49.99 euros but i got it off amazon for 32 euros

This is true. Sometimes Steam prices are outrageous. They do regularly have 50-75% sales on games though. And I'm not talking old garbage. Even newer games sometimes go for really big discounts.

Thanks for the responses. Alright well I guess I will be safe to install. Didn't a patch come out to fix the having to use the CD/DVD? If not no big deal. Thanks again. I wanted to do the digital download, but the price for Warhead on Amazon was to good. I did the digital download for Crysis and it works awesome, already came prepatched.
