Does anyone run this benchmark on crysis? On my 6970m the fps runs ok but always about a minute approx in there is some kind of graphics blur and fps nose dives sometimes even as low as approx 9 fps at 1920 x 1080 res and same in 1600 x 1050. Is this usual behaviour and a usual part of this newer benchmark or is there something up with my machine? I have the 2820 qm processor. At very high 1080p the ave fps is approx 19 ish but the min fps is awful.

    Cheers
    Wayne

As of this day, Crysis: Warhead still has an extremely high requirement. As does Metro 2033.

it's higher on 1 than on Crysis 2. Unless you got the dx11 + high res for #2.

You do have the latest patch for Crysis 1 when you ran the benchmark, correct?

Yes I have latest patch plus the hotfix. The cpu1 and gpu 1 benchmarks run fine. It's just the cpu2 benchmark. The fps really dives at certain points. I'm inclined to think it's the nature of the benchmark but want to be sure (just like the CPU test in 3d Mark that only runs at about 4 fps)

A friend of mine ran the crysis bench on his desktop. (gtx 560) He doesn't get the random blur for some reason...

I'm sorry, I can't help you anymore. I'm sure someone else has Crysis at hand to play though. Good luck.

Thanks. I don't think it's a random blur. I think it's an intended motion blur that the game uses. That aside the fps in cpu2 benchmark at the highest possible settings averages about 18 - 19 fps on my rig which I believe is ok but it's the minimums I worry about. Hitting single figures at various points in the cpu2 benchmark.

    Thanks
    Wayne

Gameplay seems ok. I get between 20 - 35 fps at the highest possible settings but I've only just started playing the game so those fps are only really based on the very beginning of the game and the first firefight at the opening campsite shortly after landing on the beach.
