Like the title told ya' not working... the eject still works, but no CDs, or DVDs work. They go in fine, they come out fine, but if I try to open anything, it will pop the disk out, and tell me to put one in that has data on it. Any fixes for this? I have tried upgrading the firmware from dells support site to the newest version. That did nothing. I dont really use it, but plan to reformat soon. and I need that drive working.

Did you ever solve your problem? My drive started doing this a few weeks ago. Pretty annoying.

My drive model is: DVDRWBD CA30N
