Hey there) I plan on upgrading my M17xR4 with Sager's 680M 4Gb and replaces the latter with my own 7970M. Do you guys think it's possible?

I'm pretty sure the Sager card will install just fine in the Dell laptop (i might need a new HS..) but now too sure if a Dell card works in Sager

    Thanks

Should be no issue. If not mistaken the MXM cards are not made specifically for Dell or Sager to cause them to be different.

I wish it could be that easy) i have a hs from the sager 6990m upgrade kit it could probably match the dell 7970m. But what i worry about is if my aw 7970m hs matches sager's 680m card...
