If you go on the Dell UK m17x r4 configurator and select 7970m over stock you will notice it adds £200 instead of £160 specified.

So either the 7970m has had a price increase from £160 to £200 or Dell messed up the pricing.

I know there are 2 different customisation options for the m17x,

The Dell Online Store: Build Your System
(found via the online deals bit) Browse Dell's Best Gaming Laptop & Computer Deals | Dell UK

and another through the alienware portal
The Dell Online Store: Build Your System
(found via Gaming Laptops - Customise a Powerful Gaming Laptop | Dell UK)

    Same machine different customization options.

The first link I think is better value, although you cannot specific the ATI card, the 680m is a £250 option combined with the automatic discount!
