    And if I may, thanks to Dell, to have been able to fix up all of our woes in reference to 8.1

    Well atleast I can upgrade to windows 8.1 when I get my laptop without all te wifi issues people have been getting

    Thanks for posting! Should I install all of these 8.1 drivers or are some the same?

    EDIT: Seems like these are for 17xR4 only

    I have an AW17 (4700MQ / 780m / 16 gig ram) and when I click the link it says 17xR4 and when I go to my login page it looks just like before with only a Windows 8 option from the dropdown menu (though no option for 8.1 as in the OP xR4 link). I'm in Sweden though, but the US dell site has always worked for me before when I've logged in to my account there previously.

    As a sidenote I must say I really regret updating to 8.1. On base Win 8 my computer really worked absolutely perfectly (coupled with start is back), but now several steam games won't work and my benchmark scores are a tad worse. I might be missing something but 8.1 offers nothing valuable from what I've seen so far. Hopefully it'll get fixed though :/
