i saw the tutorial.. im not tech saavy in that department at all. also dont have any screws for the new card I don't think LOL.

Just use your old screws, it should work just fine. Also, depending on which GPU you have and are upgrading to, make sure you have a proper heat sink.

You're only going to feel ripped off if you did it yourself and there were no issues, there are many different outcomes than that one

No thermal paste is understandable, but what was so hard about the guide? It's step by step, with everything highlighted.
