    it decreases the performance a little bit but since its not unlocked, U'll lose all unlocked options from your previous BIOS.

    you will lose up to 15% of your CPU performance for an exploit that will never be leveraged against you.

    Newer chips are haswell - kabylake, older chips are nehalem - ivy bridge.

    FYI: This is STILL NOT FIXED in silicon, meaning even the 8700K still has to be software patched.

    once the announcements whent malware in website ads that makes use of it exploded. A13 is UEFI update form Dell and as far as i know there is no unlocked version of it, only A12 bios. IDK what good that does as there is zero info on how to use the OC features that are even in stock firmware let alone unlocked. maybe i'm just ignorant but, it's a far cry from changing a multi, volts and or FSB speed.

    The stock A14 should let you OC and change things, the options are there for me but I dont have an Extreme CPU, only s 4700mq
