DFS is a pain to deal with. I've had some confrontations with them but never anything that had put a hold on my account or anything. Good luck with the rest of this. Hope you never have to go through it again.

This is absolutely rediculous she cancelled my replacement again! IDK what to do with this lady she is absolutely unreasonable! Refuses to respond to my phone calls or voicemails!

She'd need to get an approval from Dell's collection team, IIRC. It's not her who canceled your order. It's the dispatch team who did and forwarded your account to be reviewed by her(account review officer). You can also email her or request for replacement parts only if you want to fix your machine. They should have no problem sending you parts.

I have a tech coming tomorrow or wednesday to replace my speakers. I know my way around it pretty well (replaced CPU/GPU tp etc), but i'm going to let him do it anyway, if he s it up, it's on him.

Does anyone know if I send my computer into the Depot for repair if they will keep my computer and not resend it. The only reason I ask is because the lady seems really untrustworthy, and when I checked my call status it doesn't say DEPOT it says CCC which IDK what that is. I am thinking about ordering and paying for the parts and fixing it myself through the out of warranty depot. What do you guys think? They told me because of the parts issue and the numerous issues I was having that they want me to send it to them and I can't get a replacement or in-home repair. It seems that they negated my warranty for using it.

Well well see what the Dell tech will do. Should be over in the next day or two to replace my M11x screen and my M17x R2 5870 GPU. Hopefully this goes well

i don't understand why you're having so much trouble... all i did was have a tech come out--no fix-- sent in for depot --no fix-- and then complained. then they sent me a new on... :shrug:
wonder why they would be so easy on me, and give you so much crap. -
Well the 5870s, both will be replace, but that wont solve the issue with the touchstrip ribbon, or on board speakers, which don't work. I'll deal with those issues once the system doesn't start up after new GPU's are in the system. SHould be interesting, and I'm patient. I just don't want my system scratched. Hopefully a full system replacement will be in order after a few attempts.

I thought I read you bought your system after getting a refund on your sxps. That explains why your issue is so complicated.

An update to this situation
I have ended up purchasing a fan to replace the one the tech broke, and have filed a BBB complaint against Dell.
