    I asked one of the tech reps how much would a gpu upgrade cost for my R3. I asked how much a Radeon 6970m, 6990, or the 580m would cost, I got this in reply.
    He said a 6970m is $628! :eek:

    "In reference to your Video Card inquiry, AMD 6990m and GTX 580m cards are not available for upgrades (only for new systems).

    AMD 6970m is available ($628.56)

    Let me know if you want me to order this card for you."

    Is it true that the 580m is only for new systems? and isnt the 6970m gone when configuring a r3? so it should be cheaper i guess.

    Try another rep., tell him they can take back your current GPU and ask how much will the difference be.

    Ok will do, and I didnt know there was a option they take back my old gpu and just charge me the difference?

    Never decide based on one conversation with one rep..I usually different reps on different days and get outstandingly differing views and facts
