    Quote from dell.com m17x page

    Graphics to Be Reckoned With

You’re only as good as your GPU. If you want your games cranked up to max settings with ultra-fast frame rates, the Alienware M17x now offers up to a full one teraflop of sheer graphics power with ATI CrossFireXTM . Experience incredible scalability, performance and compatibility while obtaining desktop-quality imagery.

BinaryGFX — With Alienware’s BinaryGFX technology, users have the ability to switch between discrete or integrated graphics.

now im pretty sure everyone that has an m17x cant use the integrated graphics. So is dell just false advertising. I guess any 1 can order an m17x and if they dont like and wanna cut through all the bs they can just claim false advertising from the website and get an instant 100% cash refund.

are you looking at the M17xR2 (with I5 or I7 processors) or at the M17x with Core2 processors ?

well i checked everything possible. The older model isnt even available to be purchased anymore only the r2 with core i7 is even up to be purchased so its not from the old m17x with the nvidia 9400m. I looked everywhere for another mention of that feature but it only says it on the main feature page. I don't get it unless somehow all the m17x's they ship from now on have the integrated graphics on the dual core i7's activated and dell did this silently without even anouncing it.

Look at the site yourself. There is no core2duo version even on the site

    im not that dumb

    yeah, i see that too.
It's a typo (one might call it false advertising). R2 does not have discrete graphics.
All it has is a stealth mode, which is a low power mode but the ATIs are being used in both cases.

well thats a good loophole to know then. any 1 that orders the m17x can just get a no questions asked full cash refund due to false advertising if they just dont like the m17x. Just fall back on that excuse and there's ur full cash refund not credit or anything like that. Maybe even after the 30 day window. Could say something like "the first time i try to use the feature (which wasnt till x amount of days after i ordered and nothing happened. I got a screenshot of the page and it shows I should have this feature. Full cash reffund now or i guess I sue for false advertisement."

lol if you want a full cash refund on your m17x and your outside your 30 day window well your welcome.
