    Only thing I would change is the new 6990m which came out TODAY is only $50 more, and it is 17% faster, so it is $50 well spent.

    Other than that you got a good deal.

    I agree.

    If you feel like 17% is worth the extra $50 then you should try to change your order or cancel and reorder with the 6990M. I definitely would.

    Call and ask if you can change that one part. They may say no. If not you can still return it after they send it to you. It may be worth it to do so if not having the best card will bug you. But if you only had 1 coupon to use and you've already used it then returning and starting over may not be an option.

    I emailed my rep, hopefully he can help me out.

    If not, I'll just stay with the 6970. 17% looks good on paper, but in actual gameplay I know that theres not a huge difference between 35 and 40 fps (17% difference).

    Besides I plan on OC'ing the card as much as I can. :) Either way I'm very happy with my purchase.

    It was a one-time use coupon for students only from my school.

    It was called a "Welcome-Kit". If you're a student be sure and talk to some admin at your school to try and get one. Great deal.

    I noticed you had something else posted earlier for 1800. Just curious, where do you live that tax is less than 4%.

    I bought a rig recently and only got $100 off but if I can get this 20% coupon, that'll be awesome. What school do u go to and did you get a US dell representative?

    Better yet, see if your dell representative would be wanting some more business i.e. ME :p you can PM me his details.

    He's off Wednesdays and Sundays, but I will check with him Thursday.

    I go to Mizzou, and the admissions department gave it to me.

    Also, yes he was a US rep, and very helpful and nice. You almost always get a US rep if you go though the student purchase program.

    Lastly, I live in Missouri. Dell ships out of the midwest which is why tax is so low I think. Either that, or it's just Missouri's sales tax. It's a lot better than some other states tax!
