Hey there everyone fairly new here but I am always looking around for help on this forum.

I will cut right to the chase, I have a Mx17 r3 with

    6990m
    i7-2670
    8 Gb Ram
    500 HDD
    Killer network card

and the rest is all standard alienware mx17 stuff

Now what has happened is I thought ok system is getting fairly slow I am going to rebuild. So I rebuilt the system but the 12.3 drivers were being such a pain in the to install I decided to use the a08 Unlocked bios after a few bricks and a few problems and removing the card to reset the bios I disabled the IGP and reinstalled windows 7 AGAIN for a nice fresh install...now all is ok it has all installed BUT I am having this 2 second stutter in games and on desktop the sound carries for a second and the graphics still move very slowly then catch up it feels like I am running on a system that is about 8 years old and this laptop is only 2 months old....

ALSO my screen is permanently dimmed since disabling IGP Now I have noticed a few people talking about this on the forums in other threads but found no clear reason as to why this happens

anyway If anyone can help that would be great i will upload my dxdiag to for extra info.
