Hey all, I just got a new set of 5870's from dell since my old set were faulty and once I installed them, I tried opening up Crysis 2 and enabling DX11 and it's now saying that I don't have DX11 support??
I then opened up GPU-z to check out if DirectCompute is checked and it is not. I've completely uninstalled the 11.6 driver and even tried to install the latest Dell driver but no luck. Any ideas why my DX11 GFX cards are suddenly not supporting DirectCompute? (yes I made sure to check that they sent me 5870's and not 4870's ha ha).

You may have to reset your bios and do a power drain so its properly recognized. Try those really quick.

Ccc settings?
-
Cant find any CCC setting that enables / disables DirectCompute...but I may be blind.

Have you installed the OpenCL drivers?
-
^^yes they are up to date. I'm beginning to think that I may have to install a clean copy of Windows to get it to work. From what I've been reading up on....directcompute is a feature built into windows.

Update: Just for kicks and giggles I installed the 11.7 beta drivers and it's now enabled! Whew! I was about to do a clean install of windows!
DirectCompute not enabled??
