where can I dload display driver (monitor)

at the moment it's recognissed as a generic pnp monitor, I think that with a proper driver the display can improve especially with dedicated profiles

I have the 1920x1200 display which should be the led version on an M17xR2

you DON'T need a driver for the monitor, only for the graphics cards. My is also listed as generic PnP monitor and i have zero issues with it.

The display drivers are the ATI or Nvidia drivers. Generic PnP is how it's read as hardware I believe. As far as using it with photo shop you should be able to tweak the display colors and settings

Ati and Nvidia do Card (vga) drivers and not monitor drivers.

Eg. If I have an iiama display (monitor) I must go to the iiama website to get the drivers. with the correct drivers it will be much easier to match profiles and other monitor specific settings such as Hz and other stuff that the monitor manufacture wants you too

honestly it's not the biggest issue around but an accurate way to match monitor and printer

whats this newbie talking about??? JK lol

By the way is iiyama display and the m17x DOES NOT need additional drivers for the actual display monitor, it only needs driver for the graphics cards which addresses the LCD screen also. Otherwise the generic pnp drivers will be at dell support. Like DR650SE said, you can still tweak the display colors and settings.
