    Display problems HELP!!!!!!!!!

    I recently had my mobo andgpu replaced because my mobo wasnt picking it up now wen i turn it on the screen shuts off after the windows boot screen like its completely off the laptop is still running and everything the alienfx lights are on the fans are on i can even turn alien fx on and off using fn f11 but the screen is just black whats the problem with it I searched around and some people say it may be a driver issue but I cant even fix if cause i cant see anything

    It could be a bios issue with your mobo or a gpu dud, as for solutions im lost.

    Have you tried to boot into safe mode?
    Hit F8 before the Windows start up screen comes up (helps to hit it a lot), choose safe mode then go uninstall your drivers.

    i tried safe mode it freezes then reboots again i wasnt here when the tech fixed my laptop but my sister was and she said the tech told her todo a clean install of windows should i try it

    Download Dban (Dariks boot and nuke) this wipes your hard drive of everything, it make take a couple hours, Only do it if you have the time.

    If you don't have the time clean install windows you might have driver conflicts from the reinstallation.

    i deleted everything on my hardrive and am now trying a clean install ill update on how it sent

    OMG!!!!!! windows is saying it cant configure to hard wth i just had win7 on the same hardware now thanks to all the help from dell techs i dont even have an os on my laptop now this is sooo frustrating im gonna try installing again

    ps. should i try installing on my crucial m4 coming tomorrow

    Make sure you reset BIOS to defaults.

    Then, format your hard drive using the Windows utility.

    Also, ya try on the M4.
