Does anyone know if the Displayport on the R1 is DP++? I was reading that it has to be DP++ if you want to use an HDMI adaptor. Id like to get 2 screens for my R1 but i don't want my choices limited to displayport models.

    No idea.

I would try get a monitor with displayport, or use an active DP -> dual link DVI converter, and probably the DVI -> HDMI converter.

HDMI is probably the worst of the formats as you are heavily resolution limited.

the same rule applies to DVI, it has to be DP++ to convert the signal.

DP to dual link DVI adapter. Be sure to find one that specifically states dual link and you should be gtg for any monitor up to 30".
