    I was playing starcraft 2 and all of a sudden i heard skipping and my screen went black, the next thing i know is this:

    Did the computer restart okay? Could be anything from faulty ram to faulty video cards.

    Do you have mipmapping and Catalyst AI turned off in the control center?

    The computer restarted play with the exception when I was on the sign on screen the screen turned black for about 3 seconds then resumed to the sign on screen.

    Where is the control center? I'm blanking out it's been a long day

    Click start, go to all programs, and click on the Catalyst ATI control center thing. Then follow the instructions I mentioned before. You shouldn't worry about anything until you've done this at least. I had a similar problem with SC2 and this remedy fixed it immediately. Good luck :)

    ATI's control center can be accessed by right clicking anywhere on your desktop not occupied by an icon. Should be top most option in the menu that pops up.

    Of course this only applies if you have ATI GPUs. You might want to post your systems stats for others to help more easily.

    Ahh, I have NVIDIA...Dual 260M to be exact...not ATI drivers..
