    Well... i didnt really BREAK anything, but i managed to f*ck it up hehe.
    My keyboard wont light up anymore, got blank, invisible programs running, things dosn't work, and i believe some screws are missing. But nothing is fyscially broken.

    I managed to shred the cross head in the top of my screw for th bottom cover. Just ring dell and ask for more screws.....

    Hey Jeffer,

    I would get in there and try again. Go slow and be careful with the cables. The 2 cables in picture are quite stubborn if you will. They need to go in properly otherwise you will have issues. Try to seat them again and see how you go.

    Also the keyboard should have 2 cables connected to it. Make sure both are connected properly and try again.

    If still nothing you may need a new white ribbon cable for the keyboard.
    Also you can try and discharge the notebook by removing the battery and AC Adapter. Then hold down the alien head button for 30secs - 1min. Plug everything back in and try again.

    I did manage to get the keyboard to work for ~20 seconds before, so i guess some cable is damaged. Don't know which one controls the light tho

    Get the service manual from the Dellienware site. It shows all.. kinda ;p
