<s>i am thinking of buying alienware m17x R2 from a wholesale company in china named keepoffer Electronic Ltd.! it's located in china and a wholesalers of electronics
    here is the url

in the contact us tab they provided their phone, their address, their email
    Contact Us - keepoffer.com
they have a tab for "recently sold item"! this alienware is 412$ and 430$ shipped to my company, and has 1yr warranty! i called them and an answering machine answered and was talking Chinese, so i didn't understand a word! after one minute the call ends! i tried reaching online chat but no agents responded! it was 5:28AM Friday (CST)! so i think i was calling them not at business hours

They have passed ISO 9001 international quality management system!
go ahead and surf the entire website (i have already done it) and tell me what do you think!? should i trust this seller? is it a scam? do they pretend they have products in stock and actually scam people for money?
what do you think? can i go ahead and buy it? i need opinions/advices! what can i ask them so i can be sure it's not a scam?!
    </s>
Mod note: elemalls.com and keepoffer.com are scams

but won't you get achinese keyboard and version of windows?
edit:some website say they can be scammers... you should try to contact them again, chat or anything but if it,s a real website and they aren't scammers... it yould be so awesome but sometimes when things look to be to good to be true, it's probably because it is.
re-edit: looks like scam... saddly, there is some video about them on youtube...

I was about to check out when they only except western union or wire transfer, I guess they don't accept major credit cards, probably a scam.

    Recent orders can be faked.

Shady company's use wire transfer/western union.

Not all is cheap in China. These system would cost 3x as much in the US.

Is it worth the worry and trouble....Check it 1000% b4 you commit. Consider the logistics of chasing them over any problems arising later.

you asked us what we think and we ALL think it is 1000000% SCAM.

I hate to see a fellow "forumer" fall in for it... Just don't buy it.. How can an Alienware cost $400.. That is basically much less than what Alienware could produce in the first place....

I dont think there is much to debate here.

    IT IS SCAM.

what did they say? just curious...

It is still scam brother. It is literally impossible for them to offer in economical sense.

Sometimes in China, in factories, they will produce more than the order from the company.

Like some decent brand clothing company would order for 1000 shirts, than the factory will produce 1200 shirts and make it look like the cost of 1000 shirts were that amount. And in the market the factory will sell the 200 shirts for the factory owner's profit. For somethings this happens, but probably not with alienware because it is customized each order...

Tell us how bad their reply's english is

At this point, I am just not so sure why you want to get a laptop from a chinese reseller..

    1) Yes you can pay 70% of the cost, not get a laptop, and since you are not satisfied, dont pay the rest 30%! Sure that sounds like a good customer service...

    2) For $1200 with 20% off coupon, you can get a prettty pretty good spec Alienware on Dell Outlet.. I had a bad experience with it, but some people have really good experience as well...

If you are going to get scammed, I suggest the initial site you mentioned.. You will be scammed just around $400 instead of like $900 in this new site. Sounds more economical... ...

Two of those are M17x-R1's, two generations back and pretty old tech now. The other sounds like an R2, but some of the specs are odd. This is old equipment. Be careful.
